UTS Asian Express
Annual Group Sales Training Seminar 2006

Yang Shuo, an inspiration place for classical Chinese landscapes of fantastically-shaped peaks, studded with pines and small pavilions, partly shrouded in mist.  The peaks are pure limestone which has been eroded into strange formations over millions of years, resulting as karst landscape.  The peaks are everywhere you turn, dominating every skyline, parading along the river and suddenly appearing at a downtown intersection.

The Li River, which runs through the center of Guilin and Yang Shuo, is a complementary attraction to the peaks.  Fishermen on bamboo rafts use the traditional method of strong lights suspended over the water to attract the fish.  The conglomeration of individual streams into the Li River signifies the integration of varied ideas of the UTS Asian Express individuals.

This spectacular location was specially chosen by the AE Management for gathering ideas and inspiration of marketing and sales talent during the UTS Asian Express Annual Sales Training and Team Building 5-day event from August 24th 2006.

In preparation for the inter-office training, each team member required to research a topic which was subsequently presented to the group.  The dynamic ideas, together with the shared knowledge of regional markets and industry updated enabled the AE Team to understand the challenges and rapid changes of the moving industry.  The spirit of the group demonstrates that UTS Asian Express is seriously committed to our professional development of all staff members and values the benefits of every training and team building opportunity.

The AE Team did not leave Yang Shuo without flying in the air balloon, exploring the mysterious caves and soaking in the mud bath which as legend is supposed to promote external youth and wisdom. Group Sales Director, Mike Schopp commented at the closing of the Seminar that "I'm proud to be associated with such a great group of winners !" The AE Management thanks each individual for their thoughtful training contributions they made to our winning team.
