AEMovers together with Hong Kong Accueil held a day on November 25, 2010 visiting the Port of Containers in Kwai Chung - the 3rd largest terminal in Asia after Singapore and Shanghai.

The participants first visited the Control Tower where they saw on screen how tracking and handling thousands of containers every day are being and managed. Next was going into the terminal yard for a close witness of the loading and unloading of containers from the huge container vessel. It is amazing to know that a vessel can hold between 6,000 and 15,000 containers.

After a busy morning, the participants had a relaxing lunch at the Jockey Club in the New Territories where they enjoyed the food, drinks and sunshine. Back on the bus, our tour leaders prepared a quiz on Hong Kong which inflamed the minds and unleashed a flood of response and hands.
